- LEED® is the world’s most widely used green building rating system. Instinct’s facility is one of few LEED Certified® pet food manufacturing plants in the United States.

- All fish used in our Lincoln, NE, facilities is MSC certified! MSC is an international non-profit on a mission to end overfishing and ensure seafood is fished sustainably.

Recyclable packaging by 2025
- In accordance with the Pet Sustainability Packaging Pledge, all Instinct packaging will transition to recyclable materials by the end of 2025.

- We understand that sustainability is an ongoing journey and is committed to continuously improving our practices. Besides adhering to the 2025 PSC Packaging Pledge, a big goal is charting a path to net zero emissions. Instinct is committed to becoming Carbon Neutral by 2050 – with ambitious plans for 2030.
