Vegetables and fruits in the ingredients
This was a hard pass by my cats. The bag is resealable so thats a good thing. The food was fresh every time I tried to give it to my cats. I like the fresh ingredients of fruits and vegetables that are in the food. One of my cats would eat a little of it but that was it, she wouldn't eat anymore after. My other cat would vomit after eating it. Not sure if that is due to the food or not but it was only after eating this food. I tried multiple times but they just both had the same reactions each time.

The cat really loves this food.
The bag was in great shape and very sturdy the food was ready right out of the bag. The weight was the perfect amount for the cat to have plenty. I really like the design of the bag as well as the look of it. She loved the food.

Great for Digestive Sensitive Cats
My cat, Milo, has delt with digestive issues for years. We have tried many brands to see which work best for his sensitive stomach. Since using Instinct, he has seen a large decrease in his regurgitation. He is a salmon lover, so he instantly took to his new food. The food does have a potent fish smell to it, which you can smell through the bag. It makes me feel better knowing he is eating real ingredients instead of processed foods. Interested to see what other varieties the brand has to offer.

Quality food ... No from the cats, Yes from the dog
I was really hopeful about Instinct's dry cat food because the ingredients and grain free formula looked like such a win. But out of my 11 cats, a couple wouldn't even try it, and the rest only nibbled a few bites and then walked away.
My dog, on the other hand, did enjoy it! But since he is the farthest thing from picky and not the intended target, he's not a good taste tester for this one.
Every cat is different, and I still appreciate the brands commitment to clean ingredients, but this particular recipe didn't cut it with my group. I wish it had been a win, because the quality is definitely there, just their interest wasn't.

Instinct original salmon dry cat food is made with high quality ingredients being Salmon the 1st ingredient. It is grain free. The bite size is good for all life stage cats. The package is resealable and that helps to keep the food fresh. My cats love it.
